“ We had the Sunday Roast at Hawksmoor NYC at 2 PM during the busiest part of the day, and right when things should have gone off the rails, their computers went down. But honestly, you wouldn’t have even noticed. The team absolutely crushed it. Service was smooth, the staff didn’t miss a beat, and everything came out flawlessly. No stress, no chaos, just pros doing what they do best. Now the food. Unreal. The beef was cooked to perfection, insanely tender and packed with flavor. The Yorkshire puddings were massive and crispy, the roast potatoes were golden and addictive, and the gravy tied it all together like a dream. Every bite was comfort food at its absolute peak. Even with tech issues, Hawksmoor didn’t just hold it together they delivered one of the best Sunday Roasts I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back. If you haven’t been, do yourself a favor and book a table. ”
“ We had a great night. Service, ambiance and food was gorgeous. We were initially 5 but added an extra person maybe 30 minutes prior to our reservation and they were able to accommodate us in a bigger table. The server recommendations were on point, one of us ordered everything she recommended and he was raving about how great this was. We will definitely be back soon again. ”
“ Steak Deal? Sure! But the Fish & Chips Stole the Show Got a deal for steak with a side for only 25—so why not? However, what’s a must-try in a British restaurant? Fish and chips! So here we go. The fish and chips were a killer—huge, crispy on the outside, and juicy and tender on the inside. Honestly, it was even tastier than our main target today: the steak. In brief, the steak wasn’t bad (a bit salty, but that’s just my opinion). The sides—spinach and fries—were decent. But the real highlight was the atmosphere—grandiose, almost like an opera house. Definitely worth every penny. Trust me! ”
“ My wife and I went here recently during a trip to NYC and we were not disappointed. We started off with drinks in the bar until our table was ready (they were delicious). Once we got to our table to sit down, we started with the scallops and bone marrow. The scallops were melt in your mouth good and the bone marrow was rich and savory. We ordered the 20 Oz chateaubriand (plenty for 2 people), mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. After our meal, we shared the sticky toffee sundae and we both said it was the best dessert we had the entire week. The service was phenomenal and I love their relaxed dress code. It is a place where you can be comfortable and enjoy a great meal. Would recommend for anyone looking for a great place to get an amazing steak with a great atmosphere. ”
“ everything was really good. don’t try to pick up the scallop shell though, it comes very hot. the scallops themselves were very tender and in a buttery garlic sauce. the lobster is in a similar garlic sauce. the caesar salad is on the heavier side with dressing which is what i prefer. the beef fat fries had a distinct rich taste. the mac and cheese was very cheesy, good for cheese pull pics. the sticky toffee pudding was really good and the salted pretzel sundae was a perfect combo of salty and sweet. ”
“ Absolutely fantastic steak!!! The charcoal grilling they do really sets them apart from similar NYC steakhouses. Far and away better than Keens, and up there with Carne Mare and Strip House. The desserts were also fantastic as well as the Caesar salad. Great ambiance and lovely service as well. ”
